ABOUT THE ROLE:
Located in Batam, as a Bookkeeping All-Rounder, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The Bookkeeper will report to the senior Accountant and work closely with the Leadership Team in both Indonesia and Australia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure day to day accounting activities comply with accounting regulations, Company policies standards.
• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Reckon accounting software.
• Manage the Payroll function.
• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
• Assist in the month and year-end closing processes.
• Provide support for audits when necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• The ideal Candidate will have at least a Diploma in a field related to the Job Responsibilities above. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance will be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of AASB (Australian Accounting Standards Board) and accounting principles and practices will also be highly regarded.
• 2 years minimum work experience in a similar field with proven experience as a bookkeeper
• Exceptional written and verbal skills, both linguistically and numerically
• Experience with computerized accounting packages
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, honest, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
