Responsibilities

1. Manage all accounting transactions
2. Prepare budget forecasts
3. Publish financial statements in time
4. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
5. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
6. Ensure timely bank payments
7. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
8. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
9. Audit financial transactions and documents
10. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
11. Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements and skills

1. Work experience as an Accountant
2. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
3. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
4. Experience with general ledger functions
5. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
6. Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
7. Business English: Be able to communicate with all levels of management
8. Presentation skills: Be able to present ideas to small groups of people
9. Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience

Education

1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, business, or taxation
2. A CPA certification is preferred
