QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biology Education, or equivalent.
2. Holding a teaching certificate would be preferable.
3. Minimum with two years of teaching experience as a Biology Teacher in an English environment.
4. Having Cambridge, Singaporean, or IB Curriculum experiences will be an advantage.
5. Currently not participating as a candidate for Civil Service or Government Staff selection process (for example CPNS, PPPK, etc.) or committed to other parties.
6. Proven self-initiative, creative, and teamwork spirit with an open-minded character.
7. Possess strong religious characters.
8. Fluent in English, both oral and written.
9. Ready to join in July 2025.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Develop complete lesson plans, student assessment strategies, and instructional resources based on students' needs and interests.
2. Delivers instructional activities and adjusts them accordingly to ensure students' academic development.
3. Works collaboratively with the classroom team to apply the research-based activities within the curriculum implementation.
4. Completes regular assessments within the school academic year by having multiple assessment evidence from various learning activities.
5. Do analysis and evaluation of teaching and learning activities.
6. Rate, record, and report student's development, progress, and achievement, written in English.
7. Hold parent-teacher conferences throughout the academic year regarding their children's performance.
8. Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
9. Maintain an ongoing and comprehensive student profile for each student.
10. Completes continuous professional development and applies the knowledge and skills to support the instructional activities.
11. Provide constant guidance and motivation to students.
12. Others: The school may assign other functions to the job when required.
