About the role

PT Sedap Satu Hati are seeking a full-time Cashier to join their team in Surabaya, East Java. As Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing all financial transactions at our restaurant.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and assisting customers at the cash register
2. Accurately processing payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments
3. Handling cash, reconciling tills, and preparing daily banking reports
4. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
5. Maintaining a clean and organised cash counter area
6. Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing role within the hospitality or retail industry
2. Strong numerical and mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional manner
4. Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
5. Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
