8–12 years in paint manufacturing; 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Qualification :
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
- 8–12 years in paint manufacturing; 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong process knowledge of waterborne and solventborne systems and dispersion technology.
- Experienced with HSD, bead/sand mills, mixers, filters, compressors, and filling machines.
- Proficient with QC instruments and SPC fundamentals.
- Familiar with ERP/MES, production reporting, and basic OEE calculations.
- Leadership in multi-shift operations and change management.
- Fluent English skills or Mandarin preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan MPS/MRP, convert to daily schedules, balance tank and mill capacities, and control WIP.
- Ensure RFT batches through disciplined SOPs, pre-batch checks, and stage-gate approvals.
- Supervise mixing, dispersion, bead milling, let-down, tinting, filtration, filling, and labeling.
- Drive QC: viscosity, fineness, density, color ΔE, gloss, adhesion, hardness, and stability tests.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis for yield, scrap, and cycle-time reduction.
- Enforce K3 and EHS: LOTO, confined space, flammable storage, dust/VOC control, APAR, and emergency drills.
- Manage B3 waste and environmental compliance (UKL-UPL/AMDAL) with proper documentation.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with MTBF/MTTR tracking and spare parts min-max.
- Oversee raw material receiving, QA release, FEFO, and inventory accuracy with cycle counts.
- Lead shift structure, attendance, training, certification, and fair overtime per labor law.
- Track and report KPIs daily and monthly; execute corrective and preventive actions.
- Support audits and certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and customer audits.
- Collaborate with R&D for scale-up, DOE trials, and cost-down reformulations.
- Manage customer complaint investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure SNI, labeling, batch traceability, and documentation integrity.
- Ensure safe and compliant operations by leading EHS and K3 implementation to achieve a zero-incident workplace.
